The Quatermass Experiment

At the end of the first part, we see the alien creature that invaded the astronaut's body
appearing as a jellyfish-like blob, getting fried by mega-volts(the same treatment later used for the 1961"Gorgo")
So it's logical to assume that the 3 giant blobs in Quatermass 2 had come to earth to avenge their little brother !
