was a very good of Norman Wisdom as Norman Pipkin in The Early Bird. At one point I expected him to shout Mr GRIMSDALE!!!!

First he reminded me of Frank Spencer when he ended up falling into a barrel of tar from the back of a removal van:-

Then the Norman Wisdom voice!

There again, this film came first (well before most of Norman Wisdom's stuff), so maybe Wisdom and Crawford copied Broadhead!

Actually the screaming is not far from the truth as the slime was created with the toxic, now banned, titanium tetrachloride, which did cause discomfort for the actor Tom Chatto.
