Is anyone else driving themselves crazy trying to do the calculations as at the end of the film e.g. 71/2 cent x 260 weeks etc. and failing to come up with the same answer as Prez and Babe, or is it just me?

shareI wasn't bored with the movie HOWEVER I was curious about the math and the 40" television. I have run the numbers twice in Excel and they just don't compute. Granted they are only off by $1.39 a week but they didn't choose the numbers to make the lyrics rhyme so I don't understand why the inaccuracies.
It is a grand old musical and I'm going to let go of the math ;-)
I thought maybe they were rounding .0375 for 1/2 time up to .04, but it still doesn't come out right then either. My thought is that they're factory workers and not math scholars, so their calculations aren't perfect.
