I think this number is probably the highlight of the film. Carol Haney was a treasure who died much too young.
shareI agree with you - and Haney also gets most of the next best production number in the film as well "Hernando's Hideaway". Add to it she has a hilarious drunk scene in the movie and it's safe to say Ms. Haney stole the film.
These two songs and "Hey There" were the three hits of the Broadway musical.
