I don't think this movie has ever been shown on TCM. Is there something legal issue like the one that prevented "Annie Get Your Gun" from being broadcast until now?

Wow, I forgot about Damm Yankees, good point. One wonders if it has something to do with Bob Fosses's estate, since he did the choreography for both. Hmmm

If you've ever wondered why The Pajama Game isn't shown on TV - although it has been in the UK - Warner Bros only have the 'Home Video Rights'. Although they own the film, Warners made an unfortunate deal on "The Pajama Game" and "Damn Yankees" where the underlying rights have to be renegotiated with the original owners of the stage musical source. The recent TV climate for old movies hasn't made it feasible to renew the films for that medium.
