Bought the dvd,good in parts but flawed.

I liked this film,have seen it loads of times and bought the dvd the other day.

This film used to be on British tv a lot and I thought I knew it well but watching it on dvd it struck me that the plotting could have been better.

My previous comments on here about the film stand,the scenes involving the interrogations are interesting and historically fairly accurate I think.

But there is too much of the man wandering around the Lake District in the rain,I would have liked to have seen more of his time in the USA,how exactly did he get to Germany? how did the nazis look after him in the USA?
