The breaking of the 4th Wall gave me an electric shock the first time, now it gives me goosebumps. It is indescribably spectacular...

and you too, David Lynch.

both of these guys ("Nights of Cabiria", and "Mulholland Drive", respectively) made me cry. I do ache for the gentle, feeble waifs that are tossed about in the raging seas of love.

Imagine yourself being Cabiria - you think you've found your ticket to happiness after a lifetime of desperation, only to find...

Diane was somewhat the same in "Mulholland Drive".

I guess the very end of "Nights" may have been enough to rescue a day of the doldrums from this amazing, beautiful, spellbinding movie.
