Was the sound recorded on the set?
I can hear the echoes of the studio on certain dialogues. Any idea?

shareI just wrote in another post on this board that all Italian films at that time were dubbed. I don't know exactly why Italian filmmakers never used recorded sound on the sets and used instead that technique but that's a rather well-known fact. The actors always post-dubbed their dialogues (as the films were shot silently).
