It's dissappeared!!!

This is a great movie that just seems to have vanished. Is it available anywhere?

Hey fellow fan. I too have been searching for this one either VHS or DVD. Have you been able to track it down? Would like any info you may have gotten through your searches. I found out that Disney Studios, of all people, own the copyrights and seems to be sitting on it. Have you had any luck?

As far as I know, this was never released on commercial home video. It used to get air-play on television, way back in the '60's and early '70's, then vanished. I found a poor quality bootleg on tape about 8 years ago. It's watchable, but just barely. There's got to be better bootlegs out there. This film desperately needs restoration from the best print that can be found, along with several other Corman classics. For instance, "Beast with a Million Eyes", "It Conquered the World", and "War of the Satellites", which is a surprisingly good movie. Criterion might be our best bet to get these films restored on video. They recently released "Equinox" (1970), which is not something you would expect to get royal treatment. Write to Criterion and request these films, maybe we'll get lucky.

Just in case you don't know -- they released a triple feature DVD with this and Crab Monsters and War of the Satellites. From amazon for less than $15. Watched Crab Monsters last night and Not of this earth tonight. Saw them when they first came out ages ago (I'm 68 now)......enjoy them!
