I think I know the answer I'm going to get, but I just want to say that I like M. Hulot's Holiday more

black and white movies were better

I prefer Mr. Hulot's Holiday too. Right now this one is doing better on the imdb ratings though. I haven't seen any of the other Hulot films.

M. Hulot's Holiday is absolutely genius.

I have always been a fan of M. Hulot's Holiday and I just recently watched Mon Oncle this past week for the first time. While I think that I do like Holiday more, Mon Oncle really impressed me with its contrasts between the modern world and "old" Paris. It makes me long for a simpler time...

Definitely Mon Oncle - it´s not only funnier, but also more beautiful to look at (and listen to) and it also has this sense of melancholy romanticism to it which is not present in Holyday. Great film.

I liked this one being in color, with green, purple, and Pepto Bismol car, and the red sausage hose. It's been awhile since I saw Holiday, and Trafic, and they are all very good in their own way.

For me, Mon Oncle feels more melancholic and nostalgic than Hulot's Holiday.
Both are obviously fantastic films and belong in the very top of great comedies but I find Mon Oncle to be a more confident film and I simply like it better!

It's 'Mon Oncle' for me. I reckon Tati has perfected the Hulot character in this one.
