Beautiful Cinematography

This movie is a wonder to watch. The image is sharp and always in focus. The color is bright and rich without being over saturated as Technicolor was. It reminded me of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg in this regard. Few, if any, films made in 1958 look this good today.

I spent the last half hour of the movie afraid that something bad was about to happen to that beautiful Chevrolet Bel Air. I've love to have that car now.
