Love those 1950s Universal-Internati onal production values

Man in the Shadow, from the same people who gave us so many classic 1950s sci-fi classics, guys like Jack Arnold and Joseph Gershenson.

This movie definitely had a 50s Sci Fi vibe. In the opening sequence, I was waiting for giant bugs or something to come around the corner.

Good for them, to be so brave as to make a movie about civil rights just as the civil rights movement was beginning. Orson Welles' incestous feelings towards his daughter was definitely forbidden in the 50's. This is a great movie, very brave in its message. Enjoy!

This was one good movie. Chandler and Wells were great in this movie together.

Incest?? What movie did you watch?

I agree! Where was the incestuous scenes? When she (Coleen Miller) was draping his raincoat around him in the finale?

Joe Doherty.
