Did Anybody Just Watch This on TCm?

What did you guys think! I loved the "drunken s***" line myself!

...and she didn't even know she said it. Eleanor Parker did a damn good job playing multiple personalities. Seeing her in various roles in this marathon has given me a much greater appreciation of her work.

Hadn't seen this movie since the 1970s, when it was the CBS Late Night Movie. Eleanor Parker's performance stayed with me all these years, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed to see it again.

The scene with Robin and the cake is still terrifying!

Well, I can't just call out "Oh, butler", can I? Somebody's name may be "Butler"!

Eleanor Parker was an unsung great actress. See her Oscar-nominated performances in Caged, Detective Story and Interrupted Melody, as well as The Woman in White, The Man With the Golden Arm, among others. She should have won the Oscar here; much superior to winner Joanne Woodward also playing a mental patient.

Watched it just now. Very intriguing film.

Thought it would be a low rent version of Three Faces of Eve. Actually pretty good, especially Eleanor Parker's performance. But Richard Boone as a therapist? That's almost as crazy as Bruce Willis as a therapist!

I thought it was o.k. Any film about that subject matter from that time is going to be a little dated by what we know now, but I liked the characters and it held me. The cake scene, which another poster mentioned, was really gripping and awful, and the performances were good.

Yes I did. Eleanor Parker did fantastic job as an actress with her character in this movie. She is so talented.
