Shipwrecked on a deserted island with gowns by Dior:

I think you'll enjoy this movie exactly as much (or as little) as this premise makes you laugh! David Niven's tuxedo also survives the disaster at sea. Thx (again), Robert Osborne, for the fashion alert just before the show started last nite on TCM. The film is a '50s spin on an apparently timeless little fantasy of three beautiful people who like each other enough to share everything in the absence of prying eyes. Your fun will correlate strictly with how much you enjoy looking at Gardner, Granger, and Niven. Considering that 2 of the 3 were almost always cast for their good looks, I bet this'll still work for many viewers. (To those of you who hate the premise and its cute/smarmy execution, I recommend "Swept Away," a direr feminist vehicle of the high lonely seas by Lina Wertmuller in the '70s.)
