I just acquired a transcript tape to CD transfer of this wonderful Angelo Francesco Lavagnino soundtrack. While it is very different from the normal Wayne score, it is most appropriate with tinges of Miklos Rozsa throughout. A great listen all the way thru!!
Too bad it never got an official release...
I was a candy girl in the theater where it played 50 years ago and have never forgotten the haunting theme. I was humming it today and decided to search for it. Apparently, there was once an LP of it, but it does not appear on UTube or anywhere else I looked. Would love to have a copy of the music. You gave me some hope of finding it sometime.

Beautiful and at times eerie score. It gave the film a "Twilight Zone" vibe. I dug this movie.
