Was this re-touched in color?

I just ordered this on dvd from classicflix.com for my mother, and it was in back and white. She swears that she remembers this in color. Does anybody know?

No - It was never in color - it's perfect in b+w .

Strange but when I watched this yesterday (after recording it to a DVR) there was a scene near the end just before the epilogue that looked tinted or in some why different from the rest of the film. Bluish in the background and yellowy around Kim Novak's face. I rewound it twice and either my eyes are playing tricks on me or something was different about the lighting.

I thought maybe the director chose to shoot it differently because it was a pivotal final moment for the character. I don't know, perhaps my perspective was out of whack after TCM's recent showings of other B/W films which inexplicably threw in a color scene (The Women and Irene).
