Liz Sheridan?

Watched this on amazon prime. Thought it was interesting & good for the year it was produced. I can't help but wonder why Liz Sheridan is not mentioned because supposedly they were very tight when JD lived in NY...is there an extreme JD fan who can shed light on this?
