Visually beautiful.
This film really is a treat for the eyes. The cinematography, the scenery, the sets, the costumes, the colour palette, even the cast.
shareI spent my formative years in the Caribbean. I always watch this film for its visual beauty and steel drum/calypso music. The island, the ocean, the tropical foliage, and of course Joan and Dorothy. I loved the women's clothes. Not only beautiful to look at but if you know anything about sewing, you can see how well made they were.
