Joan Collins and Harry Belafonte

Is was really cool to see Joan Collins decades before her Dyansty fame. I believe she and Harry are the only main stars of the film still living. I'm sure many of the extras are still around.

I found Collins to be really irritating with a little girl asthmatic Marilyn Monroe voice.

And there seemed to be over-long shots of Belafonte walking away from the camera— he seems to have a wooden leg or a pelvic brace?

lol i noticed both of those same things too

yeah she never did it for me. i never got the big hype over her, even during dynasty days. in fact, she's rather off putting to me. annoying. also i always get her name confused with joan crawford.

i was surprised how dark belafonte looked. most of the time he seems light skinned.

....and ironically dandridge looked way lighter than she normally does. kindof a reversal for both

Maybe they stopped putting the dark makeup on Dandridge? A typical practice in the 50's and 60's. They did the same thing to Lena Horne to make her look "blacker". Some people need that psychological "comfort".
