watched on blu ray!

This movie came bundled in with Forbidden Planet on blu ray on the same disc. I had no idea there was ever a "sequel". I watched FP and I LOVED it, 10/10 sci fi film. This one, the Invisible Boy? Well it doesn't come anywhere close to the awesomeness of the original FP, but... I actually really enjoyed this movie! I give it a 7/10, it stood the test of time. A little bit of humor, some dramatic action, some good acting, and Robby the Robot! If I have kids some day this would be a good introduction to Forbidden Planet and Robby the Robot, it's really a nice "kid friendly" film compared to Forbidden Planet, which I got lost with watching when I was younger.
