Minor Point

The Cosmic Frame is the correct title for writer Paul W. Fairman's short story (incorrectly listed on the IMDb as The Cosmic Flame)

On the remake's IMDb page The Eye Creatures (1965) it is listed correctly.

The Cosmic Frame is a nice read if you can find a copy of Jim Wynorski's collection of original movie source material "They Came from Outer Space" (Doubleday 1980) that includes "Who Goes There?" (The Thing from Another World 1951 ), "Farewell to the Master" (The Day the Earth Stood Still 1951), "The Sentinel" (2001: A Space Odyssey 1968) and others.
