Since they are doing a remake of The Wolf Man, will they do a remake of I Was a Teenage Werewolf someday? I love the movie and I think it is almost as good as The Wolf Man. I wouldn't mind a remake. As long as they kept it in the 50's and really captured the spirit of the 50's. I would also want them to pick a great young actor that could try to fill Michael Landon's shoes. No Freddie Prinze Jr, please. I know I Was a Teenage Werewolf is a tough act to follow, but so is the Wolf Man. I doubt anyone will say Benicio is better than Lon Chaney Jr or even that the movie is better. I would love to see a Teenage Werewolf remake. But I don't want Shia LaBeouf, Zac Efron, or any of those other kids anywhere near the movie. For director, I'd like to see John Landis make the movie. Maybe even Spielberg.

They did do a remake in the 80s called Teenwolf with Micheal J Fox.

If you ever saw the movie Teen Wolf, that wasn't a remake. Not even close.

MTV is re-imagining Teen Wolf as a series and from the sounds of it, it's veering a little close to Teenage Werewolf.

Vampires and werewolves are popular again so now would be a good time for it. There was a corny show on tv 10 years ago called Big Wolf on Campus.

When I was a kid,I was 12,I saw this movie with a bunch of kids who lived in my neighborhood and we decided to make our own version of the movie.We shot it in a huge unfinished basement and it was a lot of fun.We even had Premiere Night.I liked the movie and making our own gave me a lot of fond memories.BTW,in the right hands it could be a great remake.

I agree. I really hope they remake this one day and do it right. I Was a Teenage Werewolf is a classic.
