shown at National Media Museum Bradford West Yorkshire

I have just viewed this film at the above named venue, as part of a Cubby Brocoli film season in the cinema named after him at the Museum.
It seemed vaguely familiar, so i may have seen it years ago on Brit tv, but it also has similarities to 'Kind Hearts and Coronets' and Katie Johnson being in it reminds you of the more famous 'The Ladykillers'.
It is thoroughly enjoyable, low key, black and white, black all through comedy; very well acted too.
Glad it had a re showing.
Got a very young Michael Caine in it, with only 2 words of dialogue but quite alot of screen time.
