It is shown once in a while on TCM and is worth watching. Jack Palance is very good as two twin brothers.

Yes, I agree!!!
It's my favorite Jack Palance movie and I have watched most of his films.

Wish they would FINALLY release all 30 episodes from his best TV series "The Greatest Show on Earth".
It's just beyond my understanding that almost every good TV series from the sixties gets a DVD release, but for this one I'm waiting and checking amazon.com since 1998 in vain :(!

It's a Desilu production and many Desilu productions already have been released on DVD (like "Yancy Derringer" a few weeks ago).

At amazon.com. The German amazon.de even offers a 24 pages booklet with their Yancy set which is not included in the US set.

I saw this movie a long time ago so I had to watch it again on TCM to bring my memory up to snuff...
Getting older does have some advantages; I vaguely remember liking it the first time I saw it, now I got the chance to like it all over again.
If you are the kind of person who sets in front of the TV looking for flaws, I'm sure you can find some but if you're like me and just want to be entertained,, watch this one.
Also,,, keep your good ear open for some very, very nice André Previn work... A great listen....

I agree, an excellent movie and very enjoyable. Palance is great as the two brothers. (Not twins, by the way. As one of them reveals when asked by a guard, the convict Palance is a year younger than his brother.)
