Hold that Hypnotist (1956) will be shown on TCM on Saturday morning, 7 January 2017, at 930AM central time.

Once again, Huntz Hall carries most of the storyline, as he had been doing for quite awhile, even while Leo Gorcey was still leading the pack.

This is the last appearance of the boys' landlord, Kate Kelly. In subsequent BB movies, she was replaced by Mike Clancy, owner of a diner where the boys hang out, much similar to Louie's Sweet Shop from the earlier entries. Mike Clancy was played by first by Dick Elliott, and then by Percy Helton.

Jane Nigh is the beautiful babe in this one. She definitely deserves to be called a "beautiful babe."

Hold That Hypnotist is a pretty enjoyable BB film, one of the better post Leo Gorcey movies.
