I recorded this on my DVR from TCM a few hours ago, but for some reason it got cut off right before the end.
The last thing I saw was when Polo pays "Mother" the $500 & they leave, then Pop and Celia return from the hospital and knock on the door... that's where it cut off. Can somebody maybe describe what happens right after? Thanks!

I also recorded it last night and my DVR stopped recording an hour and 45 mins into it. I'm dying to see the last ten minutes. ARGH! The guide must have said it ended at 12:00 midnight... What a tragedy.
shareI believe that was the end of the movie. It left a lot of questions. Very abrupt. You needed to provide your own ending. Did he or did he not kick the habit?

last 2 dvds: The Descendants (2011) & Zhong guo chao ren/Infra Man (1975)
I just happened to record the movie after, also. Basically, his wife and father came back and Johnny was pretty sick from detox. His wife sends his father and Polo away. Then she calls the police and turns him in as a drug addict to get help. Can anyone tell me how "Exodus" ended, since the extra bit from this movie cut the end of it off!

shareHe confessed to wife and father. He turns down drugs from dealer (Named Mother) and decides to kick habit. Movie ends with him in bed, shivering, and wife by his side, calling police to 'Report an addict" which is how I guess it was done those days. She is doing it to help him, get him treatment. Last line is her on phone by his side on phone, saying "report an addict' line.
