i was struck by the beauty of Andreina - the prostitute the man takes up with - either from the credits or IMDb - i found her name was Lynn Shaw and i began an internet quest to find out more

she seems to have been English - which makes sense since she seemed to be speaking English under the dubbing - at one point - the subtitle reads "I'm hungry. And so are you" - i could clearly lipread "I'm famished. And so are you" - the "famished" seemed more natural from a Britisher

it seems that she worked as a stripper - but i can't confirm that - besides - "Lynn Shaw" is hardly a rare name - Lynn's IMDb filmography includes several italian films - but nothing i could find at my dvd rental place which has an extensive foreign collection

just today - someone responded to my IL GRIDO review at the UK Amazon site - he said Lynn Shaw used a different name later on - Jacqueline Jones - for her british career - i'm going to rent something from that filmography to see if it's in fact the same lovely lady - will post my judgement here

follow up: Jacqueline Jones seems to be Lynn Shaw - in the couple things i've seen her in so far - she had blonde hair - i wonder if it's an attempt to keep from being recognized as the former stripper - there can be found on the internet some - ahem - revealing photographs of the brunette Lynn Shaw
