Just saw this movie and I don´t feel that this text is correct:
A man wanders aimlessly, away from his town, away from the woman he loved, emotionally and socially inactive.
That he is emotionally and socially inactive is not correct.He is active but he cannot find a new life.

It's definitely missing some info, but the less you know, the better it gets, I suppose. It's Antonioni almost in it's mature state, that's for sure. Not flawless as L'avventura or L'eclisse, but still a great movie nonetheless.
