Frustrating subtitles.

I don't know if there's another version available. I'm watching it on Netflix and only about half the dialogue is translated. I feel like I'm missing a lot of what's going on and I'm not sure whether to stop watching and wait until I can find a decent copy with proper subtitles.

Sounds like the same print released on DVD by Kino, with burnt-in subtitles, full of scratches and splices, with many lines of dialogue left without translation.

Agreed. The Kino DVD has terrible subtitles. Some company needs to do a restoration job on this fine film with newly translated subtitles.
