Mrs. Robinson

I didn't realize Anne Bancroft in this movie at all. I saw her name associated with it when I recorded it to DVR but forgot about it. I try to know as little as possible about a movie before watching it so I hadn't read the description or cast list and I must have missed the opening credits.

In any case, after the movie ended I came here to add my rating and saw her name in the credits. I said, wow, how did I miss her in the movie? Even when I went back to look for her in the movie, I was surprised. She was totally unrecognizable in my opinion.

I've always thought she had a distinctive look that I'd spot anywhere but there she is, Mrs. Robinson, in a lead role and I had no idea who she was. I mention it because this movie was made only ten years prior to The Graduate yet she looks completely different and a whole lot younger, at least to me.
