It would be nice if someone reedit the film and replace the scenes of the bird with a more serious and scary monster. It could be digitally rendered, but the idea to keep the feeling of an old movie.
Did someone already attempt to do this? Were it could be found?
A late response, but I always wanted to see a reboot, with scary shots of a truly terrifying flying monster. Maybe Dragon-like.
Heard that Ray Harryhausen was originally suppose to do the bird effects, but the deal didn't happen. Money was the obvious reason.
If done right, this film could be dark, suspenseful and frightening. The build-up was effective, until . . .
A perfect 'interesting failure' to redo.
