Blow Up the CONTROL ROOM????

most of the science in this little sci-fi opus kinda made sense...until the answer to all their problems was to blow up the control room for the atomic reactor. It was on it's way to a melt down and they destroy the only way (once the control rods arrive) to shut it down. Maybe this was the pre-quel to the China Syndrome.
Other than that, it was alot of fun!
