Model Ships
No special FX like today, but good for its time and GREAT in this film.
shareThere were shots of real ships and very well-photographed models. So much better than today's CGI, which would look like a video game or a cartoon.
shareMy favorite model ship in a movie is a Spanish galleon or ship of the line in The Spanish Main (1945) and Blackbeard the Pirate (1952).
