There is a way to tell, it might be a little bit too compicated for you to attempt but Ill tell you the technique anyway.
Does the film contain the words 'carry on', if yes it is a carry on film, if not it isnt.

One of the producers of Doctor at large, was Betty E Box, she was married to Peter Rogers who produced all of the Carry On films.
There are a few other connections between this and the Carry Ons. Quite a few of the cast of the Doctor films, appear in the Carry Ons - Shirley Eaton, Leslie Phillips, Dilys Laye ect. A prtrait of James Robertson Justice appears in one of the hospital based Carry On films.
