So after they are engaged they have their first kiss?! Lol
It's so ridiculous and silly. I wonder if in 1957 audiences thought that was normal or did they think that was dumb even back then?
I say it's dumb but I like the innocence of it. I liked the movie a lot.
Well....audiences were pretty used to seeing Tracy and Hepburn end up together in their movies. But Yes, it's all a bit sudden, as you've never seen either of them apparently give much thought to the other in their time apart.

It's all part of what every fan of the movies is expected to engage in at one time or another...it's called "suspension of disbelief", whereas we know it's not real life and don't treat it as such. This is one of my all time movie favorites with it's warts and pimples.
