Let me start off by saying that I love 50's big bug movies and have since I first started watching them in the 60's.

Having said that, I have to make one comment about this movie after watching it last night for the first time in years. Did anyone else feel that there was absolutely no screen chemistry between Alix Talton and the male lead in the picture? I was also surprised at how old (relatively) the female love interest was. She had a great figure, but was still obviously in her late 30s.

I thought she was an odd choice for the role. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Believe that Craig Steven's character was a colonel. Don't usually get to that rank until the late 30s/early 40s. Actually, Alix's age made some sense. However, if you are single, why settle for 38 if you can bs a 19 year old. I agree with you about the lack of chemistry.

Yeah, Anne Francis would have been better.
