This movie was awesome!

Oh my goodness this way surpassed my expectations! This was just an awesome all arounder with some outstanding acting, good cinematography, an inspired, streamlined take on the novel that focused on the important points while leaving out much clutter, well realized characters (especially cushing's), and there were moments of true suspense. Alright, maybe lee's monster was not exactly definitive but he was still pretty good in the role, and the ending could have been more explosive, but really that is relatively minor. Now easily my favorite hammer movie, even though dracula, captain Kronos, and the mummy were great as well. Very good.
