Is Blu Ray Version Really That Bad?

I have been dissuaded from buying the Blu Ray version of Curse of Frankenstein, as many have said that the picture quality is not as good as the Warner DVD version. Is this really true?

I would really love to see all the extras on the Blu Ray version, but if the picture quality is poor, then I will be wasting my money.

I don't think it's quite as awful as it's made out to be, but it's certainly not a strong release. If you can somehow get it on the cheap it might be worth picking up, but I'd suggest waiting for the eventual Warner Bros. release of the film. It appears that you live in the UK, but Warners rarely if ever region codes their Blu-rays, so you should have no problem there.
