SGT Brock's son

The movie explains that SGT Brock intially rejected his biological son because the boy looked too Chinese or almost all Chinese. But in real life there is an ethnic inaccuracy depicted in the movie. Brock's wife is Eurasian, 1/2 Caucasian and 1/2 Asian. Their son is 75% Caucasian and 25% Asian. The boy should pass for almost all Caucasian. I know this from the several people I've met in life who are 75% Caucasian and 25% Asian or Native American. One of my former bosses was a green-eyed blonde guy who told me he is 25% Apache One of my former neighbor's daughter is 75% Caucasian and 25% Japanese. The girl has white skin, brown hair and blue eyes. I would have never guessed she was part Asian. It becomes apparent when during summertime the girl was able to suntan to a deep bronze skin tone. These 'white' people can all tan deeply and nicely thanks to their Asian/Native American genes.

Samuel Fuller possibly did not understand the genetic results of racial intermarriage children when the parents are of varying ethnic mixtures. The boy shown in the movie is obviously 100% Asian.
