Dull rip-off of Cat People

This is a rather dull British variation of the 1942 classic CAT PEOPLE. The best thing about it is Barbara Shelley in the title role - she's so good she almost makes it worth sitting through the whole film.

In the "so bad it's good category," the film's psychiatrist is a idiotic completely lacking ethics, medical expertise, or common sense. The dolt even releases the Cat Girl (who is in love with him and jealous of his wife) - into the care of his wife!

Maybe the psychiatrist wanted the cat girl to do in his wife and then he would have an unusually exotic, very hot girlfriend. See this in the news all the time!:>)

I didn't find it dull at all. The 1942 "classic" was the dull one to me. This one had a better atmosphere and a better British cast.
