Does anyone know what kind of explosives they were using on the bridge? Just wondering how realistic that was with all of it and the detonation cord going through the water. It seemed to take quite the beating and they weren't to careful with it in relation to all of the water.
shareTo detonate the explosives, they weren't using det cord; they were using electric blasting caps and what you saw snaking through the water was wire. During WW2, waterproof demolition explosives were no problem. Early in the film, we see plastic explosives being used in training but I don't believe that was used on the bridge.
