Kino Lorber will release Boy on a Dolphin on both DVD and Blu on October 25, 2016.

While the street date has been announced, as yet the discs are not available for pre-order and no details about prices, extras, etc., are known. But apparently the release itself and the date are definite. More will be posted once it's known.

Update with details: The release date has been confirmed. Prices are $19.99 for the DVD and $29.99 for the Blu. The only extras are theatrical trailers. The discs are or shortly will be available for pre-order.

You're welcome, stefantann. I just added details on prices and extras in my OP (nothing surprising).

I just saw a bit of the film again today. Great scenery and color and not a bad film but honestly I'm only a mild fan of the movie. Ladd was miscast, and not just because of the height disparity between him and Loren. I do find it fun that they used Clifton Webb's real middle name, Parmalee, for the last name of his character here.

It's a very good Blu-ray disc. Anyone who likes this film should buy the disc.
