Jerry Blaine (Tab) Was 47-Years-Old In This Movie?

I get a kick out of looking up performers in forgotten movies who clearly got a shot at a song or an anticipated audience attraction or something and they completely fall to the wayside.

In this movie, one of the guys, Tab, sings a song called 'Puppy Love' and wow, it sure aint Donny Osmond's version, and Osmond's song was of 1950s nostalgia. lol!

I wonder what nostalgia Tab's version was supposed to have?

Anyway, the guy who played Tab, Jerry Blaine, was born in 1910?

Oh, I don't think so. Who was he, Jack Lalanne Jr or something?

That would have made him 47-years-old in this movie!

Yes, I noticed the discrepancy - Jerry Blane was on the old side to be a high school student. However I would be surprised if the information provided by IMDb is incorrect.

There are two Jerry Blaines. The elder was a band leader who was born in 1910. The younger, whom IMDb lists as being born in 1936, was apparently the bandleader's son, as he is also listed as Jerry Blaine II.
