Question about DVD releases

I'm curious as to why Hen's Tooth Video reissued Image Entertainment's release of this film. The print HTV put out is really crisp and easy on the eye; is it the same one as the Image? Or did they just obtain the commentary track?

The commentary, by the way, is one of the most enjoyable for this type of film (vintage; not the slickest) as I have heard. Kudos to Bruce Kimmel for keeping the talk fun and consistent, if not always the most informed or informative!
