Wonder why they blocked the company name

Seeing it on TV just now (Svengoolie), I noticed an odd thing during the opening credits: In the copyright notice, the name of the company that held it had been obscured! From the credits here at IMDB I gather it was AB-PT Pictures, which further delving reveals to stand for American Broadcast-Paramount Theatres -- whoever THAT was! I wonder why their name was blocked...?

Addendum: I notice it was distributed by Peter Rodgers Organization -- I s'pose it could've been their doing...but really!
