The real Jimmy Walker (a very limited perspective)

My grandmother, who lived to be 85, was Walker's age and grew up on Leroy Street a block away from the Walker family. Her brothers used to run with Jimmy when they were kids. I asked her about him and what happened to him at the end of the movie. I don't remember her exact words, but she sort of shrugged and indicated he got what was coming to him.
