Did Paul Frees dub Philip Ahn?

Philip Ahn, who plays the kindly old Lun-Wa, sounds as if he was dubbed by Paul Frees. Given Ahn's prolific credits in English-language movies and TV shows, it seems odd that he would need to be dubbed. But Paul Frees's voice is unmistakable. Am I wrong?

I just watched BATTLE HYMN last night and I believe you are wrong. I searched for more information, but couldn't find any.

I just watched the film and that's definitely Paul Frees dubbing Philip Ahn. I don't understand it. Ahn was such a great actor, so why did they dub him? And Ahn is Korean, yet even his Korean lines are dubbed by Frees! It's the one false note in an otherwise compelling film.
