The exterior shots from this film were done on Hunstanton Pier in Norfolk. Quite a few locals appered as extras, sadly the pier is no longer there it was destoyed in a gale in 1978. France by the way was one of the beaches along the Norfolk Coast Wells or Holme.

I know Hunstanton well so I would like to see this film. Someone told me that the old Capitol Cinema in Hunstanton was the nicest they had ever visited.
