Not to denigrate Lanza's singing...

But this movie was horrid, except for the cinematography. Let's face it, Mario was never a great actor, and it shows in this all too well. Unfortunately, he doesn't get to augment it with much really standout singing, except his Rigoletto number. The segment where he attempts to imitate Dean Martin, Perry Como, Frankie Laine and (shudder) Louis Armstrong is just embarrassing.

In a way, it almost falls into the so bad it's good category...almost

No, your initial thoughts are correct. This movie is so bad it really is bad; horrible. The only parts I enjoyed were the views of the city. I mostly fast forwarded through everything else. I couldn't bear it.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
