I'd love to see this film in its entirety which apparently is not an easy option as of right now since the DVD appears to be the shortened 82 minute version. Does anybody know anywhere that the original 102 min. running length can be found? Many thanks.
shareThe full version is available on R2. It's listed as 98 minutes, but that's presumably because of the broadcasting format: NTSC vs. PAL.

I don`t know if I`ve just seen the full version on BBC2 but can`t say that I was particularly impressed.Moves at the pace of a pregnant camel struggling through a sandstorm and not helped by a miscast Jurgens as a totally unconvincing Allied officer-Burton just looks a bit bored.Some over-zealous editing produces an unintentially funny moment as two arabs are shot off their horses at breakneck speed-raises a smile in what is a very mediocre affair.Speaking of affair: there`s a love triangle as well but we seem to have missed all the juicy bits!
